Dora Carridine is fed up with her life as a preacher’s daughter and sets out to explore the darker side of life instead. If she could just find some magic in the world, then maybe she will find a place she belongs.
When she comes across a coven of witches, she takes on their trials to try and join them. But the witches aren’t all they appear to be, and Dora finds herself slipping into a darker world than she imagined.
She has to make a choice to do the right thing, but Dora’s never been very good at doing anything right…

One of the best books that I have ever seen, I was at the edge of my seat while reading this story. The story line of this book is amazing and keeps you at the edge of you’re seat, and Dora’s life is something I never even knew would be something that I someday would end up reading.

This is the first book that got me hooked to the Demonic Diaries series. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the whole story. Despite Dora, the main character, going through so many ups and downs, maybe a little more downs than ups, she still maintains her witty and balance(for her) personality. I laughed at times and was on the verge of crying at others. If you want to loose yourself into another world, Dora’s is very interesting one to go into. .

A funny and a witty little thing! Dora isn’t afraid of the darkness; she wants to embrace it. And when she gets a chance to do so- to get away from her horrible parents, who thinks she is possessed by a demon-she doesn’t hesitate to accept it. Dora always fights for herself. She fought with her parents to go to the witches. She also fought with the witches when they were wrong. But Dora never stopped believing. Even after everything that happened, she knew there always was A Hint Of Magic.

I loved reading this book, it was enjoyable and funny. I loved every minute of it. I don’t know what I would do if I had parents like Dora. I can not wait for the rest of the series.

I very much loved this back story on Dora. I think it’s very well written and I couldn’t stop reading it when I started! I loved Dora’s comebacks. Can’t wait to read more and would really recommend this book to pretty much anyone that likes to laugh.

This was a fun read, and it was free when I got hold of it. I’d recommend it to anyone who likes paranormal fiction or comedy or both. Dora’s stories are rapidly becoming my favorite series, so I recommend starting here if you haven’t tried them yet.
